Getting the hang of it
- Just make sure you have the Google Chrome with the default configuration or reinstall it if necessary. There’s no extra information I can give you, just because it works as described in the blog post for everybody else.
- Why don't you just say that there is no HIK-Connect app for a pc. The link directs you to a misleading add heavy site. Carefully read the whole page and don't click on an add that will install something you DON'T want.
- The web plugin does not work with many internet browsers anymore, ever since certain protocols have become unsupported. The only way I can get the plugin working is to use Microsoft Internet Explorer (11.124), which is probably not that useful for considering you are a MAC user!

Hikvision Plugin Download
Any thoughts on the following? I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Windows 10 appears to have a new browser called Microsoft Edge. I am unable to see Live View when opening my Hikvision cams (DS-2CD2032-I 5.3.0) with Microsoft Edge. It keeps requesting me to download and install the plug-in (webcomponents). I have uninstalled webcomponents and re-installed it multiple times with Edge closed. I get the same request every time I try to open with Edge and Live View is not available. I am able to see Live view when I use IE 11 and Google Chrome.
